Abstract
Axion, originally proposed as a solution to the strong CP problem of quantum chromodynamics, is also a cold dark matter candidate. It has been claimed that axion CDM has a unique observational signature because of its Bose-Einstein con- densation due to gravitational self-interaction, but the claim is not widely accepted. By classically approximating the axion field in the condensed regime, it has been claimed that gravity cannot establish any correlation that is obsrvationally signif- icant. In some much simpler but similar interacting bosonic systems, this project aims to verify this approximation through simulation. Since the approximation is verified to be valid, this project then tries to suggest another way to address this objection.
