Abstract
Inter-factor substitutability has been of longstanding interest to the energy economics and policy community. Over the years, energy substitution has been regarded as a crucial procedure to extract the economic outcome and played a critical role in helping countries transition from a low-tech to an industrial development stage. In this project, I tried to compare between the factors capital, labour, energy and material. Thus this project applies Cobb-Douglas production function to estimate the factor share equation based on input and output factors. We also applied multicollinearity and estimated efficiency from functions.
