Abstract

The current project elaborates the synthesis of the tetrasaccharide repeating unit associated with the O-polysaccharide isolated from Pseudomonas veronii SHC-8-1 via a linear synthetic approach. We have achieved the synthesis of the protected tetrasaccharide. However, further purification is required to get the target oligosaccharide in the pure form. Fine tuning the reaction conditions to achieve the target tetrasaccharide in good yield is also need to be explored.
