Abstract

Beam shifts in partial reflection and transmission present an interesting avenue to study various fundamental aspects of physics. In this project, the inherent yet subtle correlation between the transverse and longitudinal shift is studied and enhanced by choosing appropriate post selection and incidence angle. Peculiar near Brewster’s behaviour of transverse shift operator associated with non-Hermiticity and PT symmetry is also explored.
