Abstract

In this project for the first time we propose an optical set up for the single particle Dense Coding. Moreover with just using separable states the proposed protocol is able to communicate 4 distinguishable outcomes. With simple optical instruments like Beam Splitter, Polarized Beam Splitter, Mirror, Linear Polarizer and Half Wave Plate, variable Dense Medium the entire setup can be constructed. As Entanglement between two particles are not required the need for Quantum Memory is also not required and also all the complicacies due to the use of Separable States. At the Bob’s end Half wave plate, Polarized Beam Splitter Optical Detectors are used which is also much simpler than complicated Bell Basis Measurement.
