Abstract

Twitter is an online social networking and a combination of both immediate messaging and content production service that allows users to post brief text updates, also referred to as tweets. We construct a substantial corpus of Tweets consisting of related to Indian Judiciary. In this research we show how the dataset consisting of abusive and praising comments is being constructed, which has not been constructed till now and this is a novel dataset based on the criticism/praise on judges of India and also the analysis on the users who have posted these comments that is whether a user is intentionally posting a comment or whether he is a politically biased user, such kind of analysis is being done. Sentiment analysis techniques were conducted on these tweets to analyze whether the tweet is related to abusive or praising or other than these.Using the strategy of Active learning and active sampling based on the nearest neighbor in the tweets embedding space. We construct a classifier that can identify the comments related to abusive and praising.
