Abstract

The aim of this Master’s thesis is the Theoretical study of Effect of external Magnetic Field on Hydrogen Adsorption and Desorption on platinum surface FCC(111). The calculations were carried out using density functional theory and a meta-GGA approximation of the energy functional,and bfield. The density functional theory calculations are done using GPAW Software, and using bfield for external magnetic field. v
