Abstract

Adiabatic Quantum Computation (AQC), also known as Quantum Annealing, is a computational model that uses quantum mechanics to find the lowest energy state of a cost Hamiltonian. This model is used by D-Wave quantum computers and has been shown to be equivalent to the gate-circuit model used by IBM-Q computers. In this project we will implement an AQC algorithm for semiprime factorization problem and attempt to figure out the time complexity of it.
