Abstract

The first chapter includes the basic introduction and general information of the subjects like crystal, co-crystals, and pharmaceutical ingredients. The second chapter forms the basis of methods, materials and general protocols used and performed during the experiments in the study. The third and fourth chapters comprise the results and discussions of the investigation. The results explore the preparation of two pharmaceutical ingredients, Metronidazole and Sulfathiazole, based co-crystals and characterization of their crystal packaging, physical properties like absorption in IR region, heat flow capacity and thermo gravimetry.
