Abstract
The following work is done in order to predict the in-silico (protein-protein docking) work between IgV-EBOV GP 1 and IgV-DENV 1, 2 and 3; This is so in order to predict the residues in EBOV GP1 that might be forming the bonds with the residues given in Yuan et al., 2015 of IgV domain of hTIM 1, and then checking whether those EBOV residues are conserved in different serotypes of DENV. Also, to predict whether the residues of IgV given by Yuan et al., 2015 appears in docking with the surface glycoprotein of different DENV serotypes. All this to do in order to identify binding residues critical for receptor binding on DENV virus, so that vaccines can be made or some inhibition mechanism can be developed such that the above-mentioned diseases can be eradicated. Then the Expression and purification of IgV domain of hTIM1 is done in order to test binding of IgV-hTIM to DENV 2 and characterize binding residues using biophysical method. The wet-lab work is done in order to prove the in-silico work.
