Abstract

With the recent introduction of perovskites as active layer materials in thin �lm semiconductor devices including solar cells and light emitting diodes,have motivated the development of many new drift-di�usion models. In this project, we aim to provide a simulation tool built for modelling onedimensional ordered semiconductor devices with mixed ionic-electronic conducting layers.Our work is fundamentally important to mathematical modeling and physical understanding of various material systems. The motive of this project is to give a better understanding of the charge dynamics in diamonds which can be further used in other material systems and models that follow drift-diffusion of charge carriers.
