Abstract

In this thesis, we studied Inequality and Growth. Our aim is to study inequality in the world which we can see easily and how that affects the growth. We will study different concepts of inequality which includes 4 prinicples Anonymity Principle,Population Principle,Relative Income Principle,Dalton Principle and after that we will see Branko Milanovic’s idea of inequality.Then we will come to Lorenz curve and Gini coefficients which is the most popular measure of income inequality.By using all these concepts we will see how it affects the growth.
