Abstract
The 2019 (SARS-CoV-2) Coronavirus and the influenza of 1918 now are the deadliest pandemic in world history. Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19 rapid)'s spread and high fatality rate remind us of the last century's first pandemic, the 1918–19 influenza pandemic. It expanded widely to the most remote human groups, infecting practically every human living at the time and producing clinical sickness in a third of the world's population. There are some similarities exist between SARS-CoV-2 and the 1918 A/H1N1 influenza virus. 4 types of influenza have been founded yet there six different genera of Coronaviruses. The influenza A type (most) and SARS-COV-2 which is the mutation of SARS-COV-1 causes respiratory disease(pneumonia) in humans. In this article, we compared the similarities and differences between COVID-19 and the influenza of 1918 in the historical aspects and at the molecular level.
