Abstract
Anisotropic Quantum Bianchi-I model has been been analysed via Schutz for- malism. Normalisable unitary solution of the Hamiltonian describing Bianchi-I universe with stiff fluid (P = ρ) is obtained. For other equation of states of fluid i.e P = αρ with α= ≠1, the operators are reordered in a way so as to give Hamil- tonian, which has a self-adjoint extension. The normalisable solutions are obtained for the model with characterisation of eigenvalue spectra of that Hamiltonian. Similar operator ordering has been applied to Quantum Bianchi-V model with a distribution of string and unitary solutions have been obtained. It is concluded that non unitarity is not a generic feature of anisotropic models, it can be cured via a clever choice of operator ordering.
