Abstract

Epilepsy is a common neurological disorder characterized by recur-rent seizures.The unpredictable nature of occurrence of such seizures presses a burden on the people with epilepsy and their family mem- bers and care givers. A method that is capable of predicting seizures adequate time before thei onset by constant monitoring of EEG data will significantly benefit epileptic patients by preventing unnecessary injuries or trauma due to the sudden nature of such attacks. Elec- troencephalogram (EEG)is the most common tool for diagnosing epilepsy and recently,the temporal and spectral variation in these EEG
