Abstract
Human beings are generally more effcient when they perform in groups. Similar in- stances of increase in efficacy are also found in other animals. Our aim is to explore and quantify this hypothesis by analyzing, how the underlying neural mechanisms and the behavioral response changes when decisions of others are provided to an individual performing on a particular visual perceptual task. We will show our subjects pictures of noisy faces and cars with and without feedback from other persons while concurrently recording their neural signals via EEG and their behavioral response. We analyzed the EEG signals by machine learning techniques to see if there is any correlation or change with given feedback compared to when the subject is responding alone.
