Abstract

The goal of the thesis is to study the following: (i) quotient modules arising from vanishing condition on submanifolds of arbitrary codimension and invariants associated to them; (ii) homogeneity of quotient modules and subsequently, the irreducibility of certain class of quotient modules; (iii) classification of homogeneous operator tuples in the Cowen-Douglas class of operators over unit polydisc by an approach via quotient modules.
