Abstract
A convenient one-pot synthesis of 1,3-dihydro-oxazines has been achieved via TEMPO-mediated multicomponent coupling, following a transition metal-free approach. Herein, our methodology proceeds through an electrochemical oxidative pathway, which also offers a super-stoichiometric oxidant-free reaction. Notably, our plan proceeds through a Mannich reaction following an annulation step. This multicomponent coupling reaction gives a broad range of substrate scope. Moreover, this electro-synthetic methodology provides a convenient and operationally simple route to access these valuable heterocycles, effectively bypassing traditional harsh reaction parameters such as elevated temperatures and the inclusion of transition metal species.
