Abstract

Pulsed high magnetic field facility have been setup. This setup is capable of generating pulsed magnetic field up to 35 T with the pulse duration of about 25 ms. The setup mainly includes a pulsed magnet of bore diameter 18 mm, a capacitor bank and a cryostat. The magnet coil is energized by the 75 kJ capacitor bank. The cryostat has been developed using a 4 K helium closed cycle cryocooler and others temperature range of 6 K - 300 K. Sample holder in the cryostat is designed such that magnetotransport, hall effect etc. can be studied in the accessible temperature range.
