Abstract

Coupling scenarios can lead to different behaviour in periodic systems. We focus on two different scenarios as either `direct' or `indirect'. While frequency measurements tend to be average out for directly coupled systems, we see feedback inducing lower frequencies in the case of coupling through an environment. We attempt at an analytical derivation using solution decomposition and perturbation techniques and show how the coupling constant affects the behaviour in both the cases.. . .
