Abstract
Gravitational wave astronomy is going to bring in a new era of discoveries and will let us know more about our universe than anything before. Before we harness the power of gravitational waves, we need to detect them first and study them properly. In my MS thesis I am looking forward to use the concept of Particle Swarm Optimization for detection of gravitational waves. The main advantage of the PSO algorithm is that it follows a Multi-Dimensional Parameterization, which further fine tunes the detection process.
