Abstract
Molecules and atoms are the constituents of the matters we see around. Collision of molecules with electron shows some interesting results. We are mainly interested in a special process seen in the low energy electron(electrons with energy aprrox. 15- 40 eV) colliding with molecules, named DEA(Dissociative Electron Attachment). For observing this special process of inelastic electron-molecule collision we used velocity map imaging technique.Experimental setup for this method is discussed in details. Different ovservables like differential cross-section,angular dependence and kinetic energy distribution curves we got from experiment performed with NH₃ following this method using the discussed setup are shown in the end of the thesis.
