Abstract

Wound healing is the complex process by virtue of which any cut/open- ing in the mechanical barrier is repaired. The steps involved during the entire process are intricate and overlapping. In this work, various papers on wound healing are being reviewed. We shall begin with dorsal closure during embryogenesis in drosophila, which offers important insight into the wound healing, before turning onto reaction-diffusion equations governing Wound healing. The first paper is based on work by Dierkes et al, followed by a paper by Xue et al.
