Abstract
Several general uncertainty relations have been evoked on the characterization of the entanglement of the bi-modal non-trivial Gaussian States. It is demonstrated that the general Gaussian states elegantly bring out the difference in gradation in the efficacy of distinguishability of entangled states via the uncertainty relations. We use general two-mode Gaussian states with non-trivial phases to see what is the difference between these two states and whether one of them is better than the other for quantum information tasks. We find interesting correlations existing in x₁p₂ and x₂p₁ for one of the state, while correlations in x1x2 for the other state.
