Abstract
A Manganese-catalyzed decarboxylative C2-acylation of indoles with α-oxocarboxylic acids was achieved. This protocol represents a novel and complementary approach to synthesis 2- aroylindoles derivatives. The yield obtained using this approach is 89%.
