Abstract
Getting the correct location of an event(in our case an earthquake) is among the most import tasks in seismology to further study the event. We call this location of earthquake as Hypocenter. So the hypocenter is the earthquake origin point. From previous studies, we know that Thailand is not a tectonically active area And high LgQ values highly correlates with the tectonic activities of that area, which is an evidence to support our study. Through the LgQ tomography we came to know that most of the region of Thailand has LgQ values around 300-800, which are quite high. Relative site response varies strongly station to station and likely reflects local site effects caused by the immediate near-surface geology. works needs to be performed to understand the level of contribution of influencing factors, such as deformation and heat flow, to attenuation.
