Abstract
We propose mechanisms involving extra dimensions to solve the hierarchy problem. We will explain the hierarchy between the weak scale and plank scale using the Randall-Sundrum model, which involves two threebranes and a slice of 5D bulk spacetime between them containing the extra dimension. The size of the extra dimension is stabilized using Goldberger- Wise mechanism by introducing a bulk scaler which ignores the backreaction of field introduced. In the end, we will extend the Randall-Sundrum model to more than one extra dimension and discussed the phenomenology of the obtained results.
