Abstract
Pesticides are one of the most dangerous substances for our environment, It pollutes water, soil, air, etc it also has the ability to contaminate and accumulate in the food chain, which further increases the risk for animals and humans. A detailed study is required to assess the risk of pesticide pollution so that further steps can be taken effectively to solve this problem. The purpose of this study is to assess the risk of organochlorine pesticide pollution in India by using pesticide concentrations with biodiversity and water risk. As biodiversity and water are heavily affected by pesticide pollution so it's necessary to combine these three to assess the risk. With the help of collected pesticide concentration data pesticide pollution risk was assessed and interpolated maps are plotted with different levels of concern for different regions of India in this study.
