Abstract
The main aim for this exposition is to prove the semicontinuity theorem. En route, we gave a geometric proof of Horrocks theorem. This proof is different from the original proof that Horrock intially published in his 1964 paper. The argument we give essentially uses semicontinuity and base change theorems giving us a good application of these results and a way to think about them as a good set of theorems working together in a coherent fashion.
