Abstract
Cryptocurrency has attracted a lot of public attention and opinion worldwide. In this research, we investigate the public opinion on cryptocurrency on social media giant Reddit. We have created a multi-level dataset and garnered valuable insights. The dataset contains both gold standard (manually annotated) and silver standard (inferred from the gold standard) labels. We have also run experiments for opinion classification on the dataset at all three levels and have created a question and answer dataset and have perform some basic information retrieval technique and also have performed classification task on the question and answer dataset. We believe this dataset along with the analyses will be useful in studying user opinions on cryptocurrency across the globe.
