Abstract

The thesis contains three chapters. The first chapter discuss about motivation of studying methane adsorption and dissociation on platinum and nickel nanoclusters. In the second chapter, the theoretical background of the methods used in the thesis are discussed along with computational details. In the third chapter, the results and discussion regarding methane dissociation on Pt13 and Ni13 have been provided.
