Abstract

While the last few decades have seen a lot of work being published in the topic of Anti-de Sitter spacetime, there is a lack of research materials answering the question of stability or instability of the AdS spacetime. We try to answer this question using the calculation of quasi normal modes for massless scalar field with the help of a semi-analytical. We have considered different classes of spacetime in the AdS geometry and we have also found out a different branch of AdS spacetime that maintain the constant negative curvature but has different signature of charge associated to it. We explore the solution of the differential equations using the Frobenius series method and connecting the solution between two horizons.
