Abstract

This project deals with the phenomenology of beyond Standard Model scalar particles which can couple to two Standard Model fermions. We use Monte-Carlo event generators to simulate processes involving such scalars and comment about feasibility of their detection in a pp collider like LHC. Although a majority of the scalars are seen to give very weak signal, we nd one color sextet scalar which can give us detectable values of cross-section. On further analysis we see the scalar to give rise to unique signals which can open up windows of searching for this scalar eectively in LHC. Both theoretical and computational studies of those signals have been done.
