Abstract

The following thesis deals with analysis of time series climate data using various tools. Data for various climate parameters like temperature, pressure, relative humidity and dew point are studied for finding out their periodicities and long term trends. The fluctuations are extracted and also studied using wavelets and multifractal detrended fluctuation anlalysis techniques. Correlation of temperature is studied for different climate stations using random matrix and correlation matrix .
