Abstract
Soft-oxometalate is a newly discover materials which show some unique properties that’s why we are very much interesting to work with those SOM. Topological transformation in inorganic chemistry is still challenging, in this paper we address a topological transformation by light which can be a model system for natural topological transformation. We show such topological transformation by using inorganic oxometalate namely Soft-oxometalate. We started from colorless heptamolybdate based SOM nanotube and in presence of light it converted to blue color Blue SOM which is a molybdenum blue type species. Also this topological transformation model system is reversible that leads to act as a UV-sensor.
