Abstract
The Hölder continuous functions are useful to study the classical theory of partial differential equation. First, We define Hölder continuous functions and discuss basic properties of Hölder continuous functions. Then we proved compact embedding for Cᵏ,ᵅ; functions. Our main aim is to discuss the extension of Cᵏ,ᵅ; functions from open Rⁿ to Rⁿ.
