Abstract
Always majestic, usually spectacularly beautiful, galaxies are the fundamental building blocks of the Universe. The inquiring mind cannot, help asking how they formed. The structures observed today, such as the galaxies and the clusters are assumed to have grown from initial density perturbations. The main objective is to investigate if structure formation is favourable in the two cases | in Quintessence Model and in Brans-Dicke Theory.
