Velocity Map Imaging is a superior technique used here in the experiment for study of dissociation dynamics in molecules.The molecule under study is Sulphur dioxide.The dissociative attachment to Sulphur dioxide is known to produce three fragment ions,O⁻,SO⁻ and S⁻ at different energies,but all below 10eV.
