Abstract

As the lactation problem is one of the common problem which could be observed in our daily day to day life. But is is very hard to say with great certitude that the animals like cows and buffaloes can have same lactation problem.Since the feeding of the calf is totally governed by the owners and time permitted for suckling to the calf is totally depend on the whim of of the owner. It has also been found that the milk giving capacity keeps on decreasing with time and also people uses the calf to induce lactation in cows before extracting milk.Hence by observing the time of suckling and the quantity of milk given by cows and buffaloes, one can get idea about the possibility of lactation problem in animals. Some other animals like goats could also have lactation problem and the pattern of interaction between the goats and kids is very aberrant i.e. the number of times of interaction for suckling is very large, and these types of activities could be correlated with other day to day activities like passing urine and passing stool by the kids and can get some idea about their aberrant behaviour. To correlate the feeding pattern with behaviour of animals i.e. it’s day to day activities but I focussed only on two things i.e. passing urine , passing stool. However , in most of the cases , the feeding habit of these animals is governed by the owner ,and also the duration of suckling because it only the cow’s milk provides baby the most needy nutrients just after their birth, which could be correlated Between goats and their kids, and the pattern of food given to them and tried to study their biological behaviour like how many time a particular baby interact with his mother.
