Abstract
Well known concepts of partial orders are studied. Their relations are explored. Generalied Partial Orderings are studied and how their relations compare to the Stochastic order, Hazard rate order and Likelihood ratio order are investigated. The applications of stochastic orders to ageing concepts are discussed. The relations between different ageing classes are established using known relations among stochastic orders.
