Abstract

This research work deals with the synthesis of a diimine based tridentate non-innocent ligand and its Cobalt complex. The ligand synthesis was revisited and its cobalt complex was synthesized in one step. The cobalt complex was further characterized using various techniques such as NMR, FT-IR, ESI-MS etc. Crystallographic characterization of the cobalt complex was also done.
