Abstract

A functioning magneto-photoluminescence setup which works in pulsed magnetic fields up to 35 T and temperature range 77 K to 300 K was constructed. This was created by coupling the existing pulsed magnet setup and photoluminescence measurement equipment using fiber optical cables and cryostat. A cryostat was designed specifically for this setup. Pulsed magnet and optical setup were synchronized through specific methods to obtain reliable data. NaGdF4:Yb20%,Er2%Mn20% was studied in this setup, but no conclusive results were obtained.
