Abstract

An effective strategy has been documented for the synthesis of the block copolymer of polyisobutylene (PIB) with side chain carbohydrate segment by the combination of cationic polymerization and reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization. The resultant unique block is expected to show self-assembly.
