Abstract
Velocity structure has been applied to study the Moho depth in the geologically significant Eastern Dharwar Craton, India. The study has used the joint inversionn technique(Julia et al., 2000; Herrmann and Ammon, 2004) which has a comparative advantage over the simple inversion techniques. Using different properties (Receiver Function and Surface Waves) and different data set in the single time provides much accuracy to the analysis. Seven seismic stations in the Eastern Dharwar Craton have been studied thoroughly to calculate the Moho. Approximately 35 km depth of Moho has been observed in the area of study. The result are being well supported with the previously published results.
