Abstract
Leggett Garg Inequality has proved to be a useful tool to mark a dinstinction between a classical and non-classical system. Several theoretical and experimental works have been done looking for violations of the Leggett Garg inequality for two level systems and multilevel systems as well. In this thesis, we have obtained a closed form for the two time correlations involved in the Leggett Garg paramter, using the SU(N) Lie algebra for any arbitrary N-level quantum system by reducing it to an e↵ective two level system through bipartitioning. Then we have also looked at some special cases which give simplified expressions for the Leggett Garg parameter.
