Abstract
In this work, we have been successful in making a composite-Soft Oxometalate catalyst which was then subjected to various characterization techniques such as IR, Raman and SEM imaging . The requirement of a large surface area was fulfilled by soft-oxometalates, the space required for reactant accommodation was provided by the porous aromatic frameworks. The catalytic activity was confirmed by time dependent Raman spectroscopy of benzaldehyde oxidation using hydrogen peroxide. DMSO served as an external standard. The target of doing site specific catalysis was fulfilled by optical patterning using optical tweezers laser set up. The so obtained catalytic galleries were loaded with benzaldehyde and hydrogen peroxide and the oxidation of benzaldehyde was monitored by time dependent Raman Spectroscopy.
